Ever wondered what a health coaching session actually looks like?
In today’s episode, I’m actually sharing a snippet of a live coaching session with one of my lovely clients, who has graciously given permission for me to share this with you.
You may be thinking that you’d like to get some health coaching yourself, but you’re not really sure what it actually looks like. In this episode, I coach my client through her goal of increasing her fitness levels at a gradual, manageable rate. I hope this inspires you to realise that getting health coaching is not at all scary, but actually it can be an incredibly powerful tool to help you finally reach your goals, whatever they may be.
Why might health coaching be the right step for me?
It’s a great time of year to think about eating more healthily and getting outside for more exercise. If you’ve been thinking about wanting to lose a bit of weight, manage your stress better, eat more nutritionally healthy meals, stabilise your blood sugar levels, reduce your caffeine intake, start up a regular exercise routine, get better sleep and generally feel more energized – whatever it is, then getting some support from a health coach is the best way to get personalized advice, support and accountability to help you make healthy choices that you will actually stick to for the long term.

But maybe you’re a little bit hesitant because you don’t really know what health coaching is and what it would look like. Well, today’s episode is a great one for you! One of my clients kindly agreed to me recording her session so that you could get a glimpse of what it’s like to work with a health coach!
What this health coaching session covers
Before you dive into listening to the coaching session above, let me give you a bit of background. Before the recording starts, my client and I had a long chat about what’s bothering her, what’s not working well and in which particular areas of her life she wanted to see some positive change. For this session, she settled on getting going with a sustainable exercise routine that she could gradually build on over the long term. In our session together you’ll see how we explored her different options and how she settled on a particular action step she felt was manageable to help her achieve her goal.
If you’re inspired by what you hear and think that you’d also love to experience similar support and accountability then don’t forget to book your free discovery call – I can’t wait to chat with you and answer all your questions to see if we would be a good fit to work together.
